You are what you eat. I love a healthy lifestyle, and eating healthy stuff is part of it. I’m always hungry (note: every single hour of the day), and I do want to avoid unhealthy snacking. I had to find something to survive those hungry moments during the day. Açaí Bowls are hot right now. Divers, a hotspot in Antwerpen, is serving these kind of bowls. I didn’t really get the trend until Iswari send me a mail mentioning if I wanted to try some products. Today I’m telling you all about it.

This brand is originally from Portugal, the factory is located in Setúbal. Iswari means “goddess” in the ancient language of Sanskrit and it is this goddess that guides the mark and its principles. The company is in perfect communion with nature and attaches great importance to the 3 following principles: health, taste and wisdom.
This Portuguese brand became market leader in the area of superfoods and conquered more than 18 countries. They offer a wide range of superfoods, which are high in micronutrients (fat soluble vitamins, water soluble, mineral salts and trace elements) with high health benefits. Iswari offers 51 products and there are six different categories: Breakfast, Detox, Protein, Macaccinos, Pure Superfoods, Toppings and Snacks.

Açaí bowls are a trend right now, so I would like to start with this product. I received a package which contains 70g. Açaí is a small berry, harvested from the depths of the Amazon jungle. The berries are freeze-dried after harvesting, to retain all the nutrients. The berries are full of vitamin E, calcium, magnesium and copper of iron.
I made an Açaí bowl with the following ingredients:
Almond milk, frozen red fruit, two bananas, Açaí powder and I added some fresh strawberries for some extra sweetness. I mixed it all together and used almond flakes, chia seeds, strawberries and raspberries as topping. The flavours are amazing, I believe Açaí tastes like nuts. It is really hard to describe it, but I’m already addicted to these kind of bowls.

Cacao powder is something I really like. You can add it to hot chocolate to change the flavour, or add it to yogurt. There are three different sizes: a package of 125,250 or 1000g. I added it to my hot chocolate milk and it was delicious! This raw cacao powder is full of iron, magnesium, potassium and proteins.

I love oats. It’s super easy to make and ready in just a minute. Perfect if you don’t have a lot of time for breakfast. A lot of people are in a hurry in the mornings, but skipping breakfast is a bad idea. I received 3 different kinds of oats: banana bliss, Cacao Gojis and flakes. I love the variety and how different these tastes are. Just add some hot water or milk and your breakfast is ready!
