March. Spring. The start of my internship. A busy month full of events. That’s probably the best way to describe this month. I’ve been looking forward to warmer days, say hello to my bare legs! I admit I haven’t been posting a lot of articles the last couple of weeks. I’ve been busy, working from 9 to 5 and working on my paper in the evenings. But here I am again, this time with an overview of the different events in March.
1# Healthy Speed Dating
You’ll find me speeddating today in Antwerp. Not with a guy (I already found my true love). NO with brands such as YUN, Physalis and Biotona. I’m very excited to learn more about all those different brands. I will keep you updated on Instagram and there will be a pot about the event on my blog.
#2 The opening of Cook & Serve in Leuven
Leuven, the place I love… I’m always excited when new shops open their doors in this cozy city. Cook & Serve recently opened a shop in Ghent, unfortunately I couldn’t attend the opening. SO I’m really happy there will be a shop in Leuven. They have everything to decorate your table, items for in your garden or kitchen…
#3 MOMU Margiela, the Hermès Years
So happy that I’m invited again! Some of you might remember the posts I wrote about the other 2 evenings @Momu I was invited to. I loved ‘Game Changers’ ‘Game changers’ was an amazing exhibition and I learned so much about Balenciaga and other designers who tried to ‘free’ women and give them more space in clothing. 21 september I attended MOMU’s latest blogger event about Rik Wouters & the Private Utopia.
From 31 March 2017 to 27 August 2017, MoMu is displaying Belgian stylist Martin Margiela’s Hermès collections from 1997 to 2003 for the first time. As well as this, the tribute exhibition also explores the relationship during these years between these collections and his own label, Maison Martin Margiela. Groundbreaking deconstruction and timeless luxury – the two worlds of designer Martin Margiela – are the starting point of the exhibition ‘‘Margiela – The Hermès Years’’.
