Event I opening Arket in Brussels

Autumn isn’t really my favourite season of the year.  I do like cozy socks, warm sweaters and comfort food but I do have mixed feelings about this season. I seem to get sick during Autumn every single time. Last week was one of those weeks I would love to skip, really. I was staying under the covers and I’ve missed one of the events I was really looking forward to: the pre-opening of ARKET. I couldn’t attend the event but I decided to tell you something more about this shop. Read on if you want to know more about it. ARKET This company opened…

White lace I LIV Leuven

The last two weeks I’ve got plenty of time to write articles. My internship came to an end … I met great people and at the end of my internship they gave me a gift card for LIV, one of my favourite shops in Leuven. I bought an amazing top from See By Chloe, which I’ll tell you all about in today’s post. Thanks to my sweet colleagues!  LIV is one of the hidden treasures in the Mechelsestraat. I honestly believe this is one of the most beautiful streets in Leuven. Everyone knows the Diestsestraat or Bondgenotenlaan, but the Mechelsestraat has a lot…

Favourite shops in Leuven

Leuven, one of the coziest and smallest cities in Belgium. It has so much to offer and that’s exactly why I started this blog. Well I’m writing about a lot of different cities in Belgium, but Leuven has always been my favourite one. It’s the place where my grandparents took me out to dinner, where we spent hours  having a great time. If you’ve read the article in Goesting Magazine, you do know my favourite shops in Leuven. Trip to Maasmechelen Village I tea workshop …

Yesterday I was invited to a tea workshop in Maasmechelen Village with tea master Jinai Looi who lives in Rotterdam but she is originally from Singapore.  Jinai Looi is the founder of Het zesde Geluk  and regularly organizes cooking workshops. I’m so greatful, the workshop was really interesting and I learned a lot about all different kinds of tea and how to make the perfect cup of tea. Afterwards my dear friend Bo and I went on a little shopping spree, another great friend of mine, Marlieke, unfortunately couldn’t join us . I’ll tell you all about our trip in today’s post.    —

FIRST VIDEO

My first weekly ‘vlog’ is online right now – so excited!  It’s a short one – last Thurday I decided  to make some kind of vlog myself. I’ve seen a lot of bloggers do it so why not doing it myself?  I must say that it took some time to figure out how I could edit the video properly – I’m using my iphone right now to make the videos so the quality is not always that great (sorry for that!)  I have an old Canon but I can’t film with it so yesssss…. had to find a solution.
