Nougat Feliz

Two weeks ago I got a chance to do what I love, discovering a new brand! This time it wasn’t about clothes, jewelry or beauty products but still something every girl loves.. That’s right, sweets! If you’re anything like me, you love a brand with a lovely story and especially when they’re using local ingredients to make their products. That’s exactly what Nougat Feliz does, another brand to add to the list of Belgian crafts. They’ve even received a UNIZO authenticity label ‘Handmade in Belgium’, of which they’re rightfully proud and tastes in every product they make. The lovely people behind the brand…

Wonky Food I healthy lifestyle

I    like to support great brands. Brands that contribute to our society and mean something. Wonky Food is one of these brands. Food waste is one of the big problems we have to face. 1/3 of all food is wasted worldwide. 45% of all fruits and vegetables is thrown away. The reason why? I’m telling you all about this brand in this post!    #barswithbenefits Fulfil Nutrition was founded by two men. One of them started his own personal fitness journey: he ate healthy, worked out on a regular…

The pre-opening of Mercado

Mercado, the famous food hall in Antwerp and the first food market in Belgium, is opening its doors again after a Summer break. This weekend is the big Opening Festival and I (together with other people) was invited to the pre-opening which took place yesterday. It was a great evening full of nice food and different cultures. I did explore different tastes which I’m telling you all about in this post.    Mercado is located in the old post office at Groenplaats number 43. The facade is impressive, my expectations were rather high. When entering the building I was really impressed. The amazing…

Sticks & Bowls I Leuven

Hooray! At the end of August, there will be a new hotspot in town. Sticks & Bowls will serve poke bowls (or pokébowls?) and pokérittos. This new healthy food concept is orginally from Hawai. I had never heard of pokébowls before, which makes me even more excited about it. Today I’m telling you all about it!  Opening of the first poke bar in Leuven Apparently there is a ‘bowl trend’ going on. Açai bowls, pokébowls (pronounciation: pokay)…  The poké concept is the new food trend at this moment. Poké means “cut into pieces” and refers to the way the fish and vegetables are…
