Time To Bloom: a hidden gem in Leuven

We all know the Bondgenotenlaan and Diestsestraat in Leuven. These are two of the main shopping streets of the city.  However there are some hidden gems I hadn’t discovered yet. One of them is Bloom, a pop-up store for mommies and mini’s. Jolien is the lady behind this new hotspot, she opened her pop-up store at the beginning of March. She is a mom herself and knows exactly what moms and kids need. It was about time to visit the shop and to discover all the items.

Bloom in Leuven

Bloom is a pop-up store where you can find nice items for mom and mini made by Jolien and other local entrepreneurs. She has a wide range of all sort of things: jewelry, clothing for kids, skin care products, tote bags, decoration etc.

Besides the shop there’s also a ‘mamacafé’ as she calls it. It’s the perfect place to have some me-time while sipping on a delicious coffee and eating a yummy pastry. Time To Bloom has a little corner where you can take care of your kids and that’s a huge advantage. Eating out with kids at restaurants, it can be difficult. Changing diapers, breastfeeding kids, asking to warm up a baby bottle: it’s all part of motherhood. At Bloom mom and mini are welcome.

I love to support local entrepreneurs. When I entered the shop, I felt welcome. I had a great conversation with Jolien, she is such a sweet and creative lady. Want to visit Time to Bloom? Diestsestraat 206 is the place to be!

Workshops & Events

Bloom organizes events and workshops on a regular basis. Also, make sure to check out the events on Facebook. Next up are 2 Easter brunches, an info session birth announcements and workshops for moms and kids.
