My never-ending love for home interior items makes me take a look at all kind of interior webshops every single day. I get quite excited when I discover new items I truly like. Do you know the feeling when you spot new items, the more you look at them – the more you like and want them? Well I certainly do. I took advantage of this ultra long weekend and explored interior wonderland aka the world wide web. Pinterest is my daily source of inspiration. During my exploration I spotted some interior trends and webshops I genuinely like, read on if you would like to know more about my top 3 interior webshops.

The marble trend – Pluk-Amsterdam
Okay this probably isn’t new to you but marble is everywhere, it’s used on notebooks, mobile phone cases and even on storage boxes. I asked myself why I like marble so much and the first word that came to my mind is ‘minimalism’. Marble looks simple yet so chic. This Marble thing has even become a way to give your Instagram pictures a fancy look. As a marble lover myself I’ve collected some items that I want to add to my ‘marble wishlist’ (what a special name, I know). You should definitely check out Pluk- Amsterdam, it’s my favourite webshop @the moment.
Scandinavian trends have found their way into our lives and I hope they will stay forever. Just google Scandinavian interior design and you’ll find plenty of good sources of inspiration. My dream house sure has a lot of Scandinavian elements in it. I like the simplicity of it. While bright Chevron patterns were huge a few years ago I saw neutral tones replacing all things colourful. Black and white decor is in right now on Pinterest.
In one of my previous posts I wrote about Finn Concepts, I spent hours looking at all the nice things they offer. I never need something new but I can’t resist buying new items. It’s like buying new shoes, we all know that we DON’T need that extra pair of shoes but you fall in love with it. That’s exactly how I feel every single time I take a look at this webshop. This item combines the 2 things I love: Lighting and copper which has been one of the trends in interior wonderland since a few years.
There is one side of me who prefers black and white interior design but I must tell you that I’m a Boho chic fan. I like to mix and match so a few boho chic elements won’t harm. I really like this boho chic inspired hanging chair, but it’s quite expensive. Boho Chic on a budget? That’s possible. Take a look at this ‘DIY’ on Pinterest .
Can’t get enough of the Pomax collections. I’ve always been a huge fan of this shop and so is my mom, I always find the best gifts over there for her.
My Ex Boyfriend
I recently discover this shop and oh boy, I want to buy it all. Lately I’ve been in love with these marble and copper trends, my friends probably already know this because I found out I talk a lot about this stuff. And guess what… There are so many marble and copper items on their website, I was so surprised. So if you need to find a present for somebody, definitely check out My Ex Boyfriend (they have a shop in Mechelen).
Chic living on a budget?
As I already mentioned, it can be quite expensive if you are an ‘interior items lover’ as myself. Especially when you take the decision to leave ‘casa di mama’. It doesn’t have to be expensive to be chic – it’s all about the right styling. Today I’m sharing 2 webshops for chic living on a budget.
1 Maisons du Monde
Take a look at their trend book on the website – you’ll definitely find some great trends over there. You can buy every single item you see on this picture and that’s the great thing – you’ll find things that match.
