Vlog I My last year as a marketing student

After a really long holiday I went back to my place in Leuven. My last year of marketing started this Tuesday and I want to enjoy every moment of being a student. This is my first personal article about myself and why I made the decision to study marketing.  I decided to share my life as a marketing student and maybe I can give you some tips on how to manage this all.

I admit: it isn’t easy to make decisions when it comes to studying. There are so many options and a lot of students feel overwhelmed due to this amount of options. The weird part: I knew immediately that I wanted to study marketing, I had a lot of expectations and at that time I thought that I knew what marketing is all about. Well I was wrong, it turned out quite different than expected.

I felt quite lonely the first year and felt like I didn’t fit in this whole ‘marketing world’.It took me some time to get used to this new chapter of my life.  After 2 years I realised that advertising and salesmanagement and all that kind of stuff isn’t really my cup of tea, what truly interests me is public relations aka PR.  That’s also one of the reasons why I started blogging.  Read on if you would like to know how my week looks like.

My first day! This year is quite different, my school moved to another building and this means I now have to travel by bus. Last year I had to walk for about 10 minutes so this is new to me. I’m in a hurry to catch my bus, even had to make my lunch the night before. 😉

When I came home I did something stupid: had to turn in my individual study program (don’t know if you guys know this system) but you need to check the courses you’re going attend that school year. Well I turned it in and forgot to check one item….

I picked up Sofie at the railway station of Leuven, we received an invitation for an exhibition about Rik Wouters. Momu is my favourite museum, the exhibitions are always amazing. You can read about the exhibition over here.

Thursday and Friday

I had courses in the afternoon and my boyfriend stayed at my place. I needed to finish some blogposts I was working on and at this time I already had a lot of tasks for school 🙂

Hope you liked this video, if you did,

      Oh zo lief!
Gewoon doen, het lijkt moeilijker dan het is 🙂
En het editen doe ik allemaal via Imovie, heel simpel.
Neemt wel wat tijd in beslag maar de resultaten zijn toch altijd leuk!

I love your apartment! And what a coincidence: I’m also studying Marketing and this is my last year, and I attended year 2 in Leuven right there at UCLL where you study! Too bad we didn’t meet!

I’ve just watched your vlog, what can I say – it’s very impressive! You did a great job! Love also the fashion exhibition you were able to visit. I ’ve never heard of this designer, but the collection is very interesting! Love also the interactive side of it! And, of course, good luck with your study!
